Flying metal particles (fly rust) caused by industry, train track overhead wires and vehicle braking, among others, get stuck on paint and rims. These hard-to-remove particles can be removed quickly and effectively with Cartec Iron Wash. This Ph neutral product reacts with these particles, creating a purple “bleeding” effect and dissolving the metal particles. Cartec Iron Wash removes stubborn brake dust, making it excellent for use as a safe - Ph neutral - wheel cleaner.

Application:
Cartec Iron wash is used on a vehicle’s paintwork and rims or hubcaps to remove brake dust and fly rust.
Instructions for use:
Always check the product before use in an inconspicuous place to avoid any damage. Do not use the product on galvanised steel. do not allow the product to dry.
When used on paintwork:
- 1. Spray Cartec Iron Wash on the surface to be treated and then leave it to act for 5-10 minutes.
- 2. After a few minutes, the fly rust and brake dust present will turn purple. A sponge or a clay product (such as 3041/3) can be used to speed up the process.
For stubborn dirt, the treatment can be repeated.
